This site is a tribute to Ameeta Critchlow, who was born on September 10, 1964. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Lawrence met Ameeta through work in the Civil Service. They married on 4 July 1993. They had two ceremonies, a Hindu ceremony and a church ceremony. Lawrence called Ameeta his "soulmate".
Ameeta supported Lawrence being a loyal Arsenal fan and attended matches with him and his brother when tickets were available.
Ameeta was warm and friendly and a great and loyal friend. This was demonstrated by the huge turn-out when we celebrated Ameeta's milestone birthdays.
Ameeta had an artistic, creative side. When Ameeta used to work in the Government Office for London, this would allow for lunchtime visits to the Tate Britain.
Ameeta was a talented Henna artist. Ameeta used to raise funds for Comic Relief by offering henna tattoos for donations. Ameeta also attended festivals with her own stall to share her talent.
Ameeta was a loving and caring daughter to her Mum, Devi. Ameeta used to take her Mum, with Lawrence to the temple on celebration days but also loved visiting art galleries and museums. They used to frequent Brent Cross Shopping centre for that retail therapy hit.
Such a lovely person, inside and out. She will be greatly missed.
